⦁ Antione Washington-- A "ladies man".. He is the only "known" past love interest of Sophia.. He lives very comfortably after being endowed with a small fortune from an inheritance his father left him from a very lucrative Narcotics distribution ring back during the height of the 1980's "Crack Epidemic". Antoine is too busy loving women all over the world to be a "Drug Dealer". Antoine continues to hold strong feelings for Sophia Dubose He just wants to some how convince Sophia to sell her Lounge and retire with him in San Francisco California.. He is also a prime target of jealousy and deceit by Sophia's closest friends Christy and Carmen , who think he is just trying to steal the lounge from Sophia.. there is another side of antoine that is not widely known.. he has the money and the power to make anything happen. he can have anything and any woman he wants.. but antoine is quite in love with sophia.. and he is really determined to eliminate the "problems" in her life.. he will let sophia and Ms. colby think they are involved with taking down wesslee nelson.. in reality, antoine will take the "lead" in the background and assure a thorough job of "problem elimination".. Antoine is not interested in separating Sophia from the former speakesy.. he wants to find the original "recipe' of "ladee joose" and control every drop of it as he has a plan that will bring in more "dough" than the late alphonse capone could've ever dreamed of in 10 life times.
