She began to think nobody would ever dare take advantage of her , the rich and glamorous star of stage , screen and recording. She believed every contract she signed was in her favor , and that only the best producers and directors were in her life.. But when she met Wesslee Nelson and signed a long term contract with his company only to find out that he just wanted to mute her while he promotes all his Hip - Hop artists. When she confronts Wesslee about the deceit and threatens to expose his crimes and sue him for everything he has , Wesslee arranges for her young pre teen daughter to be abducted and held in a secret location , which turned into 25 years before she ever saw her daughter again. Now all she wants to do is stop her daughter from aspiring to be just like her. A life in the entertainment world is something Charlette does not want her only child to experience.
